Rating 0 Stars

This sensational Arnold Palmer signature course was recognized among America’s Best New Courses when it opened in 1996.

King’s North made its way onto Golf Digest’s prestigious list of “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses- 2004” and Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” has awarded it 4.5 STARS ever since! Plus, from 2000-2004 Golf for Women ranked it their “Top 100 Courses in America”, truly a must play in the Myrtle Beach area.

Famous for the island green and South Carolina shaped sand traps of Hole 3; the famed par-5 sixth hole, nicknamed “The Gambler” that tempts golfers with a shortcut to the green via an island fairway. (Two great shots allow a chance to eagle); and with over 40 sand traps guarding the fairway on Hole 18 it is easy to see why this has been the most recognized and requested course on the beach for over 25 years.

It was everything I expected and more ! Very nice and well maintained. Club house and check in was outstanding and everyone was polite and very friendly and welcomed Us. First class course with service to match. One bucket list crossed off.

Every hole would be a signature hole at any other course I have played. This is the best course I have ever played.

It was a nice course and the staff was incredible. Play was much slower on the back nine due to having tee times on both tees and that was the only negative. We were playing well through 9, then really hit a "wall" when we made the turn and got behind a very slow group.

Out of all the courses to play on my vacation I picked Kings North and it did not disappoint. I loved the layout and a course I will always remember. I must play course for sure!

I enjoyed the layout and look forward to coming back. It was a good challenge from the gold tees. The course was in excellent shape except for the bunkers. It appears the greens were aerated a few weeks ago and they are rolling nicely.
